About Turning Points

Turning Points is a Career and Organizational Development Consulting firm. It was founded in 1983 by Ben Edelstein who developed its methodologies and techniques dedicated to serving professionals in helping them satisfy their career needs and to self-actualize further, regardless of what state in career they were at. At Turning Points we treat each client as our only client and our primary objective is to help you learn to help yourself. We guide you through a very positive, enjoyable and proactive program that brings you to a positive conclusion, to your satisfaction.

The company is managed by Toby Gafni-Weiss as President. The range of services we provide and the variety of our client population is quite extensive. The results that our company has achieved show an enviable track record of success.

About Toby Gafni-Weiss:

Toby Gafni-Weiss has solid professional experience as a trainer, teacher, counselor and consultant for over 20 years. She has an established reputation as a caring and enthusiastic career and organizational development consultant. Toby has garnered expertise in health care and human resources development, and has broad experience in working with clients from every different industry sector of the profit and not-for-profit worlds.

As President of Turning Points, Ms. Gafni provides a keen and intuitive insight into clients’ needs and is totally dedicated to helping each one accomplish their defined goals, be it individual or organizational. Clients enjoy the sense of trust they feel in working with her.

As a career development consultant Toby does individual client counseling, executive coaching, management workshops in several areas, outplacement counseling, and trains other career counselors. As an Organizational Consultant Ms. Gafni’s work includes assessment and diagnosis as well as developing programs that encompass change management, team building and communications work in alignment with company goals.

Her education includes a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Development from the Robert J. Milano Graduate School of the Management and Urban Policy of the New School University, and a B.A. in Marketing and Merchandising from Stern College of Yeshiva University. Toby is a certified trainer for the Mediation Training Institute. She is a member of the Organization Development Network and Society for Human Resources Management.
