Career Transition Counseling for Individuals

At Turning Points we work with individuals who are interested in switching careers for a variety of different reasons. Some clients are simply unhappy with their jobs, others feel they have not achieved the level of growth they expected, and yet others have reached their desired goals and are interested in new interests and challenges. In some instances we have clients that are employed who would like to start their own busiensses or those who are in their own businesses that would like to be employees. Whatever the situation, we treat each person as an individual with unique qualities and interests. We are not an employment agency or a search firm, we are career development consultants and our goal is to help you self actualize professionally, to your satisfaction. Whatever your reasons for coming to us, we concern ourselves with only one thing - you, and we care about all the plusses and minuses that brought you to where you are today.

We will guide you through a process that is designed to help figure out what it is you want to do most with your career life that is also in keeping with who you are and what your preferences are. Perhaps most importantly, we help you get there. We will take you through a three phase program that is based on Assessment, Research and Marketing. We will stay with you until you are actually in the job that you want, and you are happy with it. Once you are there, we stay with you for six months to support your transition and make sure you are happy and that you are adapting well.
